THE BAR SADAN RESEARCH GROUP

Our research aims to correlate macroscopic features such as catalytic activity and optical properties with the atomic-scale structure. We use advanced research techniques, mainly high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) to understand the location of single atoms. We use the information to design new functional materials, mainly catalysts and photo-catalysts.
